A true shame that the author is also responsible for 
the GOT TV show. Regardless, I really liked the book. 
The epistolary nature at the beginning was clever, and 
the choice to give the name 'Beniov' to the fictional 
father of Lev was exceptionally clever. One of the 
best historical fiction works I've read. Pretty 
beautiful coming of age novel.
