Encounters at the End of the World
Werner Herzog
Extremely enjoyable. It feels incredibly realistic in
its portrayal of the continent and its inhabitants.
Herzog inspires equal measures of awe and interest in
the continent, and provides a multi-faceted view of
what life is like there. I think his decision to focus
on the people of Antarctica (hence 'Encounters') is a
perfect one, and the cast of zany characters living
there is frankly amazing. Makes me want to JOIN them.
